About the artist

Sarah West is an Anglican Priest in Aotearoa and serves as a chaplain to the Community of Ordinary Saints, a ministry for and with Anglicans in their 20s and 30s in the Diocese of Auckland (Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia).

Self-taught in printmaking and digital art, Sarah uses her art as a contemplative practice while embracing a coming together of ancient and contemporary symbols.

What is a lectionary?

A lectionary is a set list of biblical readings to be observed at worship services or for personal devotion.
Visio Lectio is based on gospel readings for each Sunday taken from Revised Common Lectionary, a three-year cycle (Year A, B, and C) that follows the liturgical calendar and is shared with Christians across the world.
We are currently in Year A.
